This is the start of a wicked good weekly section. The best of the week – great links, great people, great deals. Everything I found of value worth sharing with the world, wrapped up into one Wicked Good Weekly Post.

Why Wicked Good Week? The idea is actually a spin off from a guy who’s first up in my wicked good people section below. You see, I am a internet junkie, a twitter-holic, a bit of a social-media addict… you get the point. By putting the best of the week together in one post gives me a way to share all the great stuff I find throughout the week and helps keep my website looking nice and neat.

Why “Wicked” Good? Cause I am from New England and that’s what we say around here when something is so good we just cant come up with a better adjective.

Wicked Good Links are any links I find that were helpful, inspiring, or just worth the read. I have found these links while surfing, in my feeds, on Digg (and other social bookmarking sites) and from my friends on twitter. Yes, this list will also include shameless promotions of my own articles from printedproof.com.

Wicked Good People are those folks that made an impact on my week. Many (if not all) will be people I recommend to follow on twitter. These people most likely have interacted with me in one way or another. They have a quality worth following, learning, and getting to know. I have given up on trying to tell followers how great they are in just 140.

@bkmacdaddy An inspiration for this Wicked good week posting. He is truly a leader in how to use twitter to promote and share. I would be surprised if you are a designer or programmer and do not have him on your following list already since he comes recommended by so many. @beebow aka the queen of social media aka bee of the bow (thats what I call her anyway). As the Social media Specialist at Hudson Horizons, Lauren has blogged about everything from helpful SEO tips to the great tools of Twitter. She makes this list as an all time favorite follower. We both hit the active waves of social media together and I have certainly learned a lot about from her. Read her blog for great info!

@chrisbrogan You are probably already following Chris. He’s that guy in high school that everyone knew. Except this guy can trow the touch-down pass AND gets straight A’s. If you want to learn about social media follow him. He helps write the rules. By the way he has over 90,000 followers and answered a tweet from me yesterday.  ChrisBrogan.com is a great place to visit on a regular basis.

@NeenahPaper is a paper company gone social. No, thats not weird. This paper company is taking advantage of social media and doing it right. They dont just link-drop their own stuff or put the hard sell on their products. NeenahPaper interacts with followers, ReTweets great links and answers each question asked by followers.
