I love reading the newspaper. I love reading magazines. I subscribe to a number of titles for each. Long live print. I hope to never see either of these two publication types go out before my eyes stop working.
We all know there is a great movement today shifting readers from print to online. It’s also apparent that the companies that publish newspapers and magazines are having a tough time financially. Many are struggling, some are closing the doors. This is known by all and I wont attempt to single-handily try and save the industry. But I will say one thing that I think will help:

I just came across this great video from Olympus. I love this video.
This video was created in stop motion. They shot 60,000 pictures, developed 9,600 prints and shot over 1,800 pictures again. What a fun video to watch and appreciate the design, development and branding from such work. Read more →

My little sister is getting married. Its a bittersweet feeling. In one way she is still my little sister and marriage was always just for pretend. Now she has found and a great guy and I cant wait to see her walk down the aisle… in two months!

I just received my printed sample on Classic Linen paper from Neenah Paper. Looks awesome. Very nice quality stock. I used a new online tool to create a free printed proof sample.
