Last night I managed to take my entire website down in an effort to (of all things) back it up. Apparently you cant just change your database password if you forgot your old one (que programmer laughs). A quick call to GoDaddy.com (my hosting provider) and all was back to normal again. As the sweating started to subside I put together a list why you should check them out when looking for a new hosting provider.

If you are visiting PrintedProof.com for the first time, thanks for click’n over. This site is a re-do from a former site I developed using a content management program called Joomla! Joomla is an application with many features, but wordpress – a simliar software is super easy and requires less programing. More time to give my readers info, deals, and reviews on imaging technology.
If you are thinking about starting a blog or website you have many different options. The freebie sites that make you use their software, web address, and advertisement or you can get your own server space, install your own software, and the freedom to look and function the way you intend.
If you choose the later root, check out GoDaddy.com for hosting, domain name, and free server-side software (wordpress). They make it easy, its inexpensive, and the support is top notch.
